If i am correct John Deere still carries Blitz Black...let me no if i am wrong anyone, but im pretty sure i saw a few cans last time i went to the local Deere dealer.

you can get blitz black from any deere dealer. in shacker can or quarts

Blitz black is just a semi-gloss. Any semi-gloss or low-gloss black will be a close match.

yes you can get it at deere still, they still make it. You should also go over to A&B body supply and pickup a pint of Omni mh 101 hardner it is like $13. Mix your paint at 8 parts paint : 1 part hardner : 1 - 2 parts thinner depending on the gun. Start at 1 part and try on a test panel if it wont spray add a little more till it sprays nice. But use the least amount that it will spray with other wise it will do funky stuff. Also don't use too much hardener or your paint will be shiny. Lastly only use JD thinner with the paint.

For not a lot more money you could get omni paint. I would use the MAE line which is an Acrylic Enamel also, but it is alot more durable than deere paint.

Forgot to add:

That is a 1978 kawasaki Kl250 gastank. It has Sikkens basecoat and PPG Deltron DCU 2021 clear on it. That tank has about 60 Hrs in it. Nice, aint it.

Hope fully i can get my eltigre painted soon Black with cat green flames and red outlines.
