Those JD 90E riders were awesome! You could do a wheel stand will fully charged batteries. Actually flipped one over backwards once with my little brother standing on the back bumper. I guess the're a pretty good mower too. They are hard to find, but definitely a keeper. Love to have one. (...where did you say you lived?)

I just seacrhed JDparts.com to see if they still listed any parts for the 90E. They still show batteries available and the drive belt, but that looks like all they have. Apparently, it uses 3 batteries. I also noticed they show a model 96 also....and it uses three batteries as well, so I guess it must be a newer (or larger) model.

Rainville,

Get the serial # off your 112 and go to weekend freedom machines. you can enter it in and find out exactly what year it is and some build info, such as options. Make sure you enter everything exactly. Kind of cool if for example: you have a H3 140 and want to find out if it is real. Hydraulic lift is a cool option to have, especially with a blower, or using an integral hitch. Cram your fiancee into the truck again and head west to plow day, I have a integral hitch and 8 inch plow you can borrow.

Jim,

If you are interested in coming down for plow day let me know. It has been a while since I've heard any crap from you and your brothers.

The lawnmower/garden tractor restorations are common in my area. We did a 318 about 2 years ago, complete tear down, rebuild, hydrostatics, paint, all of it. I dont have any pics to share beings I didnt think this would ever hit this sight. Another great hobby.

Hey 400Brian ... nice shot of the ole Case. I grew up on an old 110, then a newer 112 and lastly a 317 ... but I got to tell you, I can never get used to looking at those Case L&G tractors! Those larger than normal rear tires are probably a smoothe riding machine, but dang --- just look different I guess. I had a neighbor that had one that lasted for 25+ years ... heck, he may still have it! They were built tough.

Ramon,

Those are good looking L&G tractors! I'm always amazed at how much they will pull. How big are the plows? 14in?

What is the date again? I'll mention it to them. Besides, it would be nice if they could give someone else a hard time (other than me).

Jim,

The date of the plow day is saturday April 14th. I am hoping that we aren't going full bore in the field or I might not make it either. The plow on the 110 is a 8" and the one on the 140 is a 10". I'd like to come accross a brinly 3pt 10" or 12" but the sleeve hitch adapter works for now.

Talk to you later,

Kenny,
It is just 1 mile or so north of Rockford Iowa. Rockford is Southeast of Mason City. Only about 20-30 minutes from my place.
