I got a track for a spitfire for free, its in one piece, and it all looks pretty good, but since it has sat for a long time in a shop it looks dry. is there anything you can do for it?

Sorry to tell you, but there really is no way to repair dry rotted tracks, or any rubber for that mater. The plastisizers that keep the rubber plyable leach out, and the rubber becomes brittle.
If what you mean by "dry looking" are lots of little cracks, you don't have any repair options, sorry.
Sorry if that is not of much help to you,

o well, i guess I'll just put it in and see what happens, worst thing that could happen i guess is that i get stranded and have to tow it back.
