Engine is complete, carb is rusted up but may be salvagable, track is great, but missing all the plastic between the seat and the hood, should be interesting to find, and no seat!!

Can't seem to find many parts listed on evil bay for this sled. How hard am I going to have to look?

Give us a serial number, I'm guessing that it is a '73.

The seat is the same as a 300 although seats from 400,500s x6s, and x8s would fit they just have a hump in the back. The x4/300 seats are just a wedge shape with no hump. The cowling/plastic will interchange with all the 00/x sleds of similar yrs. heres a pic of my x4 so you see the seat shape. the other sled is a 300 as you can see they are the same seats.

:D good to know that the 300 and JDX will interchange. It does have the Kohler with boggies. Serial number is 722601983. Should be a fun one for the kids.

Now the fun starts.

The x4 will be great for kids they are pretty peppy for the small kohler they have. Mostly the only difference between them and the 300 model is the x4 has a steel tunnel instead of alum. Dk trader on ebay usally has pistons, rings and gaskets listed quite often if you have to do any engine work. If you want a bigger ccw motor you can change the hoop over the motor that the steering mounts to off a different deere that had a ccw the wiring will work and the crossbar motor mounts are in the same place.
