I came home from work and found...

Hey Guys,

When I pulled into my driveway the other day, I noticed another Deere in the back yard. Apparently I am the owner of a 1980 Spitfire now. Since it came with a track still wrapped by a JD drive belt, I assume it was a guy I sold a track to a few years ago. I have not heard from the owner yet either.

Cari Deerest asked me "what are you going to do with that?" My reply was "well, I have an NOS hood for it, plus lots of other parts...and I only have a 78 Spit and 83 Snowfire, so I didn't have a black Kawi Spit in the barn...might as well keep it" To her reply of "...and do what with it!"

Darned if I know, I guess I will just look at like the other 30 odd sleds I have floating around... so it stayed...

See, I told you guys! Rainville doesn't have to bushwack, people just throw them off in his yard! ( Unless Cari is secretly buying them without his knowledge )

Why is it that our significant others don't understand that we are trying to save these "investments" from possible scrap.I found a nice X4 and 324 tiller at the local junk yard for the price of a 6 pack.It comes in real handy to get to know your local junk dealers.
