I have been hunting for a clean Yamaha SSR Sno-pro for over 4 years and have found one of the cleanest non-raced examples of a race sled I have ever seen. The orginal older owner bought it to beat his neighbors, broke the pan around the radiator and parked it. It's been sitting unmolested since. So...what level of restoration should it have other than the original hood, every thing else it perfect with a few simple repair exceptions................? JRC

1 thats quite a find congrats
2 go over everything from belts to bearings that may have dry siezed over the years.

Jon. Other than what RP already said, bearings, belts, slide suspension shafts taken out, cleaned, re-lubed. I wouldn't touch a thing, not even re-painting the pipes, Keep it in the race sled un-restored class..
