CC Racing Pics 78/79
I ran across an old scrapbook with some CC racing pictures from 78 or 79, I can't remember for sure. I thought maybe some of you would enjoy seeing them. If I remember correctly, the pics are from the races at Willmar and Forest Lake. I was 16 or 17 at the time and had borrowed a 35mm camera (no zoom) to take with as I watched the races.
So here goes ......... in no special order.
The first pic is of Ron Reimer ... I believe his wife also raced CC.
I think most of the "pit" pictures are from Willmar, with the racing photos from Forest Lake.

At the time I took the picture, I am sure I could tell you who the driver of the #156 was .... but not today - I am sure someone out there knows.

I believe this is Tom Otte's sled. He pulled into the pits with the sled on top of a platform sitting on the top of his pcikup box. I think that is him in the photo putting the ramp away.

I think this is a picture of one of the Zutz brothers from northern Minnesota. At least I think there were 2 brothers. I believe they raced Polaris for a number of years prior to racing the JD's.

Another of the Zutz brothers (????)
At least at the time I took the pictures they seemed to be racing out of the same trailer.

Last one for now - I need to go cheer on the Miracle at the Metrodome
#108 - geez, that number sounds familiar
If I don't see a ton of negative feedback, I will go ahead and post more pictures later.

Cool pictures! Also, you are correct-there were (and still are) two Zutz brothers. I think after they left JD they rode Polaris.
