I Have A Problem-1975 JDX 8

i have a problem here. i have a 75 jdx 8 with like 700 original miles. it starts and runs after like 2 or 3 pulls but doesnt move at all.what could be wrong???

Clutch is stuck, bad belt on the clutch and it is slipping or broken drive shaft. The track will not start moving till around 3800 rpms.

how good does it run? if there is a lot of smoke pouring out, your carb could be too rich and you could be flooding your engine so it won't open up. Try leaning out your carb.

it does run fine and doesnt smoke at all after it is warmed up. when i hit on the throttle it revs up and doesnt move at all.

Ck to make sure that something hasn't got the track locked up, Brake too tight, drive chain rusted in the chain case, bad bearing has a shaft locked up. ect. ect.

ok thanks guys i will look at it this weekend when i get a chance. i am dying to ride it . if i can get it to operate fine i think i am going to try to sell it . i will leave an update if i have further problems or if nothing works if you have any other ideas let me know
