Cyclone Decals Needed

Post by WinnipegStPaul9 »

I think most of you know that I preach strongly that we buy from the sponsors on this website. I'm almost out of time (two weeks left) and I don't have the tunnel decals for my 440 Cyclone. I would appreciate any help you could give me with regard to someone that would sell me a pair. Thanks in advance. Don

Rich, I heard that there's a man near me that could reproduce a set but I didn't have a sample. I'll find him Tuesday or Wednesday and see what he can do. If he sounds promising I'd be interested in yours. Thanks a lot! Don

Don, the same outfit that has the 78 Cyclone tunnel decals also has a 7-piece decal set for 76-77 Cyclones. It includes the decals you need and is buy it now for $19.99. E-Bay item # 280157504749. Something goofy, I couldn't get your Cyclone pics to come up. My wife probably can figure it out. Do you know who is being inducted into HOF this year? Duane

Don,

Sorry, I checked out my stash, and I don't have any Cyclone tunnel decals. But, Duane is right, a guy on Evil-Bay sells a set of Cyclone decals. I don't think the hood strips are part of the kit, but pretty sure all the tunnel stuff was there.

Good luck!

Don. The guys are right. The cyclone decals are on evilbay for about $20 a set..Makes me a bit leary at this price. I believe it states that they come off easily or you can make perminent by clear-coating... Not sure how to take that.

Also i believe that Ed Poets has the word Cyclone tunnel decal on his buy it now site. These are NOS but there 30 years old????

Do you still need the bumper tape as i have a package heading your way.? Anything else needed??

Thanks everyone, great response! What I need to know is the height and length of the word "Cyclone" on the tunnel as well as the "440". Rich would you mind measuring yours? Don

Don,

Give Mark a try at AFE Graphics. His work is VERY accurate and decals are BANG on as well as a protective coating applied (but cannot be noticed)... :

Be wary of the reproduction ones on eBay. I have had these in my hands - not that great.

Hope this helps,

Greg

Hi Guys,
I e-mailed Don yesterday, we are getting the tunnel done for his 77 Cyclone today, we already have the 76-77 Liquifire Sets done ($124.00) complete. I will have the Cyclone kits complete soon, they are the same with a few differences, ie. color/name, etc.
I'm also working on other kits for the JD sleds...
Snowfire / Spitfire / Etc....

Thanks Frank
