What is your dream sled??

looking at this post gets my mind to wondering, having built or restored many of my dream sleds already, dator, 1980 txl indy, sunfire(been very lucky! have a very, very understanding wife!) but to pick one sled that would be THE ONE. i would give anything to have our 89 500 indy that we got through the race program in 88 and ran in the i-500. it was a race program sled (only 500 built). i did find our first polaris race sled, and it is in fair shape, a 1980 txl indy we raced cat before 80. so i guess that will have to do for now.

One that runs and I dont have to work on all summer long and freeze my butt off in the winter time due to problems that keep biting me in the buttocks. That's all I dream about and maybe a 2007 Z1 Arctic Jaguar 4 stroke 1056 cc's...

Sleds were a pain in the ass when they were NEW. Why should they run NOW?

Rogers Winnepeg 340/s, I would return it to him, Bob's Park Rapids winning Liquidator, I would return it to him, My 4th place 1978 I-500 CC Liquifire, the IFS wish bone prototype 550 fan cooled that Russ Ebert built, I would return it to him, Rich's Soo Liquifire, I would return it to him, all of the sleds of my Dad's I wrecked, I would fix and return to him, and a Liquidator with good pistons 31 years ago, I wouldn't let anyone else near it. Any non-Deere sled in my shop would be trade material for these special sleds! Opps...and the CDI box Rich was looking for at Ironwood 31 years ago, I would find and give to him! I remember! JRC
