thats an awsome v-max. next winter im most likely gonna sell the phazer and buy either a v-max like that or a sxr 500. awsome yamaha!

I had several Yamaha's growing up. Weren't the fastest or best riding but you could beat the hell out of them and they'd keep coming back for more.

I've got a Vmax 4 800 just like that. The thing is heavy as heck till you get it up around 100mph, then the struts start to lift in the front and the rear lowers. Excellent weight transfer. Cool sleds....alittle ugly with those struts but still cool.

Calling those struts a little ugly is being kind, they are a whole lot of ugly. Thats part of the appeal to me, kind of like tail fins on a '59 Caddy, an aquired taste.
Spitfire guy, you and I have the same taste in sleds. You need to get your hands on another Spitfire also. I think a flipped my Spit about 4 times last year. You cant help but love a sled that will pull the skis every time you crack it. I have a blast on that thing. Also are you on the KFan Rube Chat? I see someone is Spitfire guy on there and I assumed it was you?

haha nope cant say thats me. but id love to get another spitfire. just brought home a 77 300. so itll be my jd for now.

Is that 300 you just got in running condition? If you need anything for it let me know, I have a few JD parts around here. I think your in Minnesota? bravo will never leave. that machine is so light and goes anywhere in any amount of snow. i am located in espanola ontario of canada. the 300 is in awsome condition. i just redid all the gas lines and cleaned the carbs new spark plugs. almost done putting everything back in then ittle be ready to go . but that kinda parts do u got?
