Hi Guys,

Most Trailfire's along with the later Deere's have a dual english/metric speedo that has two sets of numbers around the gauge. Just to make sure you are reading the "inside numbers" on the speedo since the outside number are KPH, with MPH on the inside.

I was never able to get a TF much over 60 MHP, but it was kind of a beater sled made out of several parts machines. If you are cracking 70 MPH on a Trailfire, you are doing very well with it.

Hey Rich, what kind of speeds did you guys clock that at when they were new?

hey guys,
just thought this might be a time to ask what the top speed for an 83 sprintfire is. I've heard a couple different numbers and was just curious. sorry if this is a little off topic from the Trailfires.

If you wanna start a new topic, I'd like to know as well. I just bought my first '83 Sprint a few weeks ago. If I don't hear from someone I'm gonna take mine on the 7mi straightaway in twoo weeks. I'll let you know.
