got a set of 44mm mikuni's was think would they work on the 340 along with that I got a set of 700 pipes an black magic cans would they work perhaps put the clutch from the 700 aswell just a thought if it did work what would the out come be ,so what do you guys think.

Pipes maybe if you only ran 1
clutch the 340 probably wouldnt even turn the rpms to engage
Not sounding nasty just non of these parts will work well on your engine imho.

got the motor aswell but not sure the frame can handle the torque the 700 has 125 hpr where the 340 has bout 45 the 700 is famous for vibration aswell but as I said ealier this is just a though of what could be.

The chassis will hold the 700's torque & hp ( remember we ditch raced almost the same chassis in the Dators & some people actually did there ditch banging on the 76 Liquifires ) as you probably will only be using it as a lake runner anyway, fitting the pipes with out butchering them up (which will make them useless if the lengths don't stay the same) will be a challenge. I'd also look at installing a 80 plus LF track & suspension for weight savings. you probably will also need a front tunnel cooler to keep all them ponies cool..
Sounds to me like a good summer project.

Ok now you say you have the 700 too that would be a cool project but like stated you cant cut the pipes up. There was a sled built by whom I think was a board member here with a zr700 powerplant Im thinking it was a cyclone. I also remember seeing it for sale on ebay last year. This person did a very clean installation it looked like it belonged. Maybe somebody else remembers the sled and owner surely this would be an easier project if you could speak with someone who did similar.

I have a suspention for the zr I think its an m10 but I an gonna try an fit it into the lf for this season whould like to usw the track but not sure I can use the lf drive cog it looks like it will line up lets just say this ait your dady's lf lol but ya all the dreams will have to wait cause I wanna ride now lol but I have quit a few sled parts takin up space the funny thing is there are days I think to myself I would trade it all for something that runs an I dont have to wrench on it lol
