Thanks for the info. I will have to take anouther look at the foam to see if it is worth recovering. I dont know what the former owner was doing when he recovered it, it has a large hollow in the middle of the seat he stuffed with peices of foam and then covered it.

S_Kyle,
I agree with Rich on John's seats. See the banner at the top of the page, For a little more money, send John your seat and he will repair the foam plus install the seat cover for you.
The 76 cyclone and 76 liquifire share the same seat cover but not the same foam.

Id go with Johns for 2 reasons over this cost and quality. John only charged me $60 shipped for my cyclone cover and the top of the hump and rear panel on his are 2 peices verse 1 on this cover with the 2 peice design the top fits just the very edge of the hump and a seperate peice fits the rear. If your foam is hacked up you would be better off having Jon fix it because any imperfections will show and if the foam is dry and brittle the covers dont stick the best. I am beyond happy with his cover and they look well considering my rookie installation but could be better if he had done it.

Thanks guys. I will have to give it some thought $60 there, $60 back + the repaires and recovering. That's a bit of cash when I paid $100 for the liquifire, and I still need a CDI box (i think, the said that was the problem but im not sure).
Any one know a good place in Manitoba for sled seats? The was a good place out my Delorine but they closed up and moved away.

I have never charged return shipping on a seat. Foam repair generally runs $20, and a seat finished ready to put on the sled for a Cyclone is $100.

76' LF seat
I have one of Johns Dator seats indirectly through a Dator inventory purchase, and it looks and fits awsome. When ever I need a seat, I know where I am going to spend my money.
Thanks John!

John definately does the best. There is another Liquifire around here who had his seat done by a local who does very nice work who is in Eau Claire by me. However as good as he is he just cannot figure out how to do the taillight section on John Deeres. It is positively worth sending Deere seats to John. I am eagerly awaiting my 78 Liquifire seat and as soon as I get it, I am sending my 77 Liquifire seat out. Thanks John. Duane
