Cool Deere jacket on Evil-Bay

Post by 400brian »

Really guys, I am not that puny. Even after dropping 15 lbs I am just under 190 dressed, and in case you missed the pic with Don, "I be a might bit taller" than he is at 5'10". Of course that is over half a foot shorter than Wanie or JRC...
Please Rainville, I think I heard Wanie say he craps bigger than Joe!

Linder, you are such a class act. Man, you really know how to send a post down the tubes...

Anyway, I am high bidder, again, after 21 bids. I am sure this one will be interesting right up to the end.

Joe obviously understands ebay and he can play this anyway that trips his trigger, but I am wondering why all the bidding with over 3 days to go?

Lindner,

Have you been spending too much time alone with Paul's Cougar?! Yikes!

You are seriously interesting at times...

:D

PS: Kenny, I've been watching this coat since it came up, and I didn't see a $202 bid. Maybe someone retracted a bid?! I have no idea.

I am trying to keep my name up as high bidder, since lots of folks know me it sometimes helps, or, well, maybe it doesn't increase my chances of winning.

Hey Joe, I hope you get it! Looks like a real nice coat.

I won't bid on it since you are.

Good luck!

You're KILLING ME Joe!! As a seller, I LOVE the way your bidding this thing up everytime someone else bids. It's called a "Bid-War" and it's the ideal situation as a seller. The wise man (or at least the patient one) sits and waits for the last second "Snipe" bid, high enough to assure yourself of the win, and last second enough that no-one else has enough time left to bid against you. Go big on your bid though as you won't have enough time to get another bid in either. And what the heck, you have 10 days to come up with the funds!!!! Patience Grass-Hopper...

Joe knows this stuff...he did it to me on a 340s cover. He's just fooling around on this jacket to see how expensive he can make it.

Hey Guys,

Trust me, I know how to snipe, and do it occasionally. But, I also know that keeping my name at the top of the bid "sometimes" helps me.

There is one final note to this bidding. All this darn snow is raising hell with my Hughs Direcway internet satilite and I have been having intermitent service at home. I haven't been able to get on line at home since Saturday night, so I might need to stop over to a buddies with cable internet to do final battle.

Ed, trust me, you are not at all part of the problem. I was bidding at first because I thought it was a cool looking coat, and it would fit over my Safe-Jac that makes my size 42 more like a 46. The info you posted is just bonus, and thank you for doing it!!

Later Liquidator,
-Rainville
