polaris Rivalry

Post by huston14 »

i was shoveling snow for an old guy that lives down the street from me and he was talking about how he used to race old polaris. he said that their is not that big of difference between the 440 TX and the 440 TXL in speed and wieght. he also was talking about the Centurion being a slow lead sled. of what heard and seen, they are preaty quick. so im just trying to figure out what is true and what isn't.

I'm no Polaris expert, but at the drags on a cold day, don't bet against a free air!! Also I believe that the TXL came only in a 340. I would also think that the liquid would give up at least 50 lbs.Not sure what stock HP on these 2 machines were, but weght = negative speed. Always remember, what looks [and is said to be] "stock" isn't nesessarly so. Finally---- Set-up, set-up, set-up!
