Sorry I don't have one for you, but out of curiosity what does a liquid cooled torch go for these days?? If I start doing ample amounts of aluminum I might be looking for one too. The welder I used at my old job was a 275 square wave Lincoln with the cooler on it and man you could weld .25" alum all day with that bad boy. One I have at home is a new 225 syncrowave Miller. Nice but gets a little warm doing thick alum. What do you have for a machine in case I find one around here?

_FIII, I have a older (maybe 1977-80) Miller DialArc HF, that goes up to 310A.. I believe any cooler would work, Miller, Bernard, even Home Made, etc, A few years ago you could buy used Bernard's on ebay for under $100.00 I should have gotten one then I guess... If I could find a cheap pump or knew exactly what pump to look for I could make an alum. tank, the one we had back in the late 70.s had a home made cooler on it & it worked fine, with just a motor, pump & tank, it kept the torch nice and cold..
You can find water cooled torch's from cheap (used) to $160.00 (new) for 25 footers on ebay.

Kenny, do you just use water as a coolant then? The only one I have ever used was a factory Lincoln one that was bought in about 1997 or so. It had a small reservoir and a little radiator with a fan that was plugged into the 120v plug on the rear of the welder. It used glycol as a cooling agent if I'm not mistaken. I suppose if you had the torch head you could make your own lines and pump and such. You know what would work is a condensate pump for on an air conditioning coil. It has small hose barbs on it for like 1/2
" line. I am sure you could get that to work, plus they are cheap and easy to get if it stops working. Merry Christmas to you, Richard.

I'll ck with Wade on that pump he's in Heating & Air Conditioning.
The one we had way back when, had a 50-50 antifreeze mix in it as we only heated the shed when we were working in there, it probably held 3-4 gals.
