Saturday February 2nd up on the range. I have been attending every year. It is a one day event that ends with a open house at the private Scorpion Collection of the Harrison family. That in itself is worth the drive. One of every sled that Scopion ever bulit is on display in restored or mint original condition. There is a trail ride and a show open to any sled that was built by Scorpion which includes Massey, Trail-a-Sled and a few odd balls like Sears. check out the website www.trailasled.com.

That sounds like a really good time and I'd consider going if I didn't have a big vintage derby planned for the same day. I ended up not too far from Crosby on my recent trip to pick up the Sunfire. I noticed a sign somewhere northeast of Crosby indicating the Cuyuna Mountain range. It was only then that I realized how Scorpion came up with the new name for the JLO engines which they built. Have fun at the Scorpion show.

I'll be there. I would welcome the chance to meet you. I won't be riding a Deere though, I can't take Deb teasing me so I bought a couple ugly Whips. Look for a big black Prevost pusher that says hauling Deere on the Windshield.

We got home from Crosby MN at 10:30 last night. The reunion saw 185 Scorpions on the lake. Weather was nice. Riding conditions wonderful.

Did see one Deere for sale in the swap area. A 1979 Spitfire. Looked good and priced at $650.

The featured sled was the 1970 Stinger and there were 22 of them lined up it two rows. Impressive sight!
Next years featured sled was announced, the 1975 Whip. So polish up your blue metal flake hoods.
