Thanks Eric & Bob. The next project is goin to be a real butt ugly 71 Massey Ski Whiz. Been buying up some parts on ebay for it for a couple years and I think I have just about everything I need to get her done. The Super Brute was a difficult resto job, but the Massey looks pretty easy.

Super Brut turned out SUPER nice. Nice looking sled. If you need a seat strap for that '83 Snowfire I have an extra.

Hiya Robb and ty for the compliment on the S-B. I actually have the original seat strap for the Snowfire.....but it had sorta squished in the foam on the original seat, so when I managed to locate an NOS seat for it a couple years back, I figured I'd leave it off and just store it so that it wouldn't do the same thing to the new seat. I really do appreciate the offer though....thanks very much

I have some that are of different lengths. I know what you mean by being tight. I've had several that way myself. If you need a looser one, let me know. No charge.

Hey Robb....thanks so much for your offer. Actually, my original seat strap seems like it would fit this seat very well. Maybe the original seat foam was slightly oversize? But in any case, I'm going to leave it off unless I end up taking it to a vintage sled show. I bought this sled about 3 years ago and it had only 32 miles on the odometer at the time. I'm not sure if that's original as I know the Snowfires didn't come standard with speedos, so maybe it was added on later. But the sled sure looks like it might have been the actual mileage. It's been around our vintage trail twice now so I think it's showing about 85 miles now. It's a sweet little sled to ride, fer sure.
