Hi Jon,

Tim, Nick and I had a blast hammering down the trails chasing you and our excellent guide Bob Anderson. I was very impressed with the caliber and ability of our group including Halstrom, Skime, Lamm, and the Hays brothers. You guys provided the "FAST" in the fast ride.

My little 440 and I did our best to keep up with you guys, what a riot. I think I will take Halstroms advice on gearing up as 72 mph was a tad slow on the lakes. For those that weren't on the fast ride, or "hauling butt with the champs" the only time I could get by Jon was on a lake when Joel let me ride a brand new F1000.

Joel was also a lot of fun to ride with. We ended up having a few 'slow races' accross the lakes when he was on the F570 fan. Turns out my 440 was about 1 mph faster

:D

Thanks again for riding with us Jon, that was great. Nice to see you on the board for the HOF, we couldn't ask for a better representative. The NY Posse is planning to attend the RWC next year on vintage sleds. To bring a 340/s or 78 Cross Country...hummm...

Park Rapids for sure Bob...your favorite riding, wish you were there as Stan and I along with 20 others could have used a lesson in how to win in the woods....actually very fast conditions and tons of fun! Happy Valentines Day from your old roomate! Best Jon

Hi Bob,

Yes, riding with those guys was an absolute blast. Never had more fun on a sled, short of winning a SnoCross final. I was on my little 2002 Z-440 Sno Pro. It's a 66 hp fan cooled SnoCrosser. I got it because the 02 Liquid's were in short supply back then, and I was only a 2nd year racer. Got got to relay that story to Halstrom when he asked why I didn't have a Liquid 02.

Jon was abusing us on his F7. He was the only one to really keep up with Bob Anderson, our guide. You missed a great ride, and a great time!

I sent my home address as per your request. Hope you can make it next year for a vintage ride and show me how to really ride my 78 Cross Country...

Later Liquidator,
-Rainville
