Has spark but will not start.
Read the FAQ's.
Have 2.2 K ohms on low side. Spec says 2.5-2.7.
All other tests are dead on.
Is the low sped coil the problem?
..........
Still looking for a rear bumper....
Thanks

clarification on Prestolite Ignition
Tod,
How are you checking for spark? The best way is to use a in-line tester or the original style JD type tester which you plug into the wire and clip on the engine. With those ohm readings, you should be getting great spark. (There is a 10% allowable difference) Did you ever do a pressure test on the engine, The crank seals could be bad which is not allowing the fuel to transfer.

clarification on Prestolite Ignition
I have not pulled the engine yet, this is just a peliminary issue. I did test compression but have not gone any further. My main concern was if a reading of 2.2k was acceptable as it is outside the window. When I finish this Stinger III I have on the rack I will get back to the Cyclone.

Tod,
The reading at 2.2K is showing signs of a failure. I have a stator that measures 1.5K and still has spark turning the engine over easy. I have have not tried to start it yet, but very close to. I have seen complete failures of the low speed winding down under 1.5K
