Does anyone have a manual for this machine? What is the procedure on setting the cable for the oil injection pump?
How does this sound WOT should be wide open on the oil injection pump.
Thanks Bob

there is a mark on the housing that is suppose to line up with the mark on the shaft at idle.

I'll tell you those 440 Fan cooled Exciters were VERY fast in their day. A friend had one who embarrased several liquid cooled 440s of the same era in the radar runs. They must of had pretty efficient drive trains because they certainly didn't pump out a ton of horsepower.

They don't have the liquifire bog nice smooth power all the way throught the RPM. Mine has 4000 kilometers on it bought it with no spark for $52.00. Rebuilt the stator. The machine is nearly mint.
Real pleased..
