hey Scott, I see that you have some OMC sleds. I had a real nice 65 Skeeter and a 74 Quietflight a couple years back....fun machines to cruise around on.

That's a nice looking sled. I have a friend trying to get a Quietflight going, I have to go and pick up 2 more 1970 Snow Cruiser 2000's when it gets a little warmer out. He needs a recoil and I hope to have one for him.
I'm not sure why I get these Snow Cruisers, they have to be some of the ugliest snowmobiles have ever come across. They just seem to follow me home, but they are a load of fun when they go. The 67 is more or less part but the 69 runs, but it has an electrical gremlin I have to sort out when I have time. The only way I can see getting hurt on a snow cruiser is by trying to lift/load them.
I am still pretty new to this vintage sled thing and I can't see myself stopping anytime soon. My biggest problem is that I lost all of my storage to a tornado this summer some some of my sled may have to be outside for the summer. That and the electrical issues that come from the previous owners playing with the electrical instead of fixing it properly. I better stop before I start to rant.

The "new" sleds are sitting in the shop tonight.....I feel kinda guilty they are not Deere's!! Added bonus - I got the owners manuals and original bill of sales in a box full of goodies.

They look very nice. I think you were wise to snag them both. I'd be interested in buying the Chinook from you if you were closer. I'm sure you'll do ok on it if you decide to sell it......but I bet you're gonna decide to keem both of them

I would put ski spreads on the Chinook right away.
They are so light and that lil 290 is very snappy... it is a squirry ride at speed.
The black Massey is extreamly stable.
The LiL one looks very nice indeed.

Kevin, I'd better not see a 61 Chevy for sale or I'll know you've gone totally goofy! DA
