Liquifire cylinder info needed!

My liquifire jugs appear to be in great shape. The manual says DO NOT HONE OR BORE because they are chromed. Before I put back together, should I do anything to them such as steel wool or very fine grit sandpaper??

you can hone them. just don't go overboard and keep them well lubed while doing it.

Thanks - I think I will run the hone in & out just a few times but not more than that.
