tach problem
same diagram i have but it still hits 8000 and starts to drop down too about 6500 and hold that until you give it gas and up it go's. thank for your reply

Do your lights work properly, if not the voltage requlator is bad.

yes the lights work good i have been useing the plug that is in the wiring i was told i might have to hook into the lights is this true if so what wires.

Here is a picture of the tach wiring on my cyclone. There is a double pig-tail connector in the back of the dash consisting of a yellow wire and a black wire. The yellow wire from the tach plugs into the yellow of the connector and the red wire from the tach plugs into the black wire of the connector.
