Scorpion made a TK and a TKX but never a TX. That was a Polairs name that went back to 68 I think.

TK stood for Trail King and started back in 73.
The TKX was a sled that could be custom ordered. There were six differnt options such as exhaust, suspension, auxilary rear fuel tank, backrest, ect.

I was looking for a 71or 72 Stinger III or a 74 WT.

Picked up a 74 SuperStinger WT 440 last weekend.
2400 miles on the sled. Good motor, bad hood.
440 JLO has electric start.

B)

Also got a real nice 69 Mark III 300.
Like I needed another one of those but for $35 you can't go wrong. <_<

Yup, Dennis is the man. I've got 2 Scorpion Sidewinders and have bought many parts and NOS parts from him for these sleds. www.scorpsrus.com is the website and 414-719-4497 is his number.

I have know Dennis for years and yes, he is a great connection for Scorpion parts and help.

Must be nice to have a Sidewinder let alone two Robb.

:o
I have over 20 Scorps from 68-80 but no 81's.

I have a 77 Storm that I can spare if you want to trade for one of your LC orange and gray ones.

The one Sidewinder I bought was in real nice condition. 6XX miles on it. The other was owned by a very close personal friend whose dad owned it since new and has sat in his garage since day one. Has 3200 miles on it and needs some work but can certainly be brought back to exceptional condition with some work. I've been working him for years and years on this sled and he finally broke this winter. The reason I bought the first one was because I thought my friend would never break on the Sidewinder but when he did, I ended up with two of them.........
