Dale R Jones,

He can probably help you out but keep in mind he'll charge you heavily. I've dealt with him in the past. DR Jones, has a very large selection of NOS & used parts. A large warehouse of restored sleds as well. I've been there twice. Rich's contact info is correct.

Dale R Jones used to be a Ski-Doo dealer through about the late eighties to early nineties. He still has his shop right on site with shelves and shelves of stuff. Truly amazing. But like I said, watch out, he's like Bob over at Image, he's not afraid to charge. Very knowledgeable guy however and has some VERY rare SKi-Doos there and was worth the trip to BS with him and see everything. He sold a very nice John Deere 340/S there last fall for a very decent price however. Said he really didn't know what it was worth and just wanted to get rid of it.

Oh, and Rich.... I'm known on the John Deere site as the guy who paid too much for the 1984 Snowfire on E-Bay.....

Rich,

He sold it for $1400. I saw the check with my own eyes. He said he got tired of it hanging around and just wanted it gone. He said he had a lot of interest but no real buyers. It was sold two days before I got there, otherwise I would have picked it up myself. It was nice.

Try this site and post your needs in the classifieds.

I belong to and visit this site quite a bit. A lot of great guys here, just like on all vintage sled sites. I think user "775" has a bunch of NOS vintage Doo parts. He also sells a lot of NOS doo stuff on Ebay under the name of Doo4u or something close to that. If you post your needs, I'll bet someone will get back to you. This is the best Vintage Doo site out there in my book.

Good luck on your quest,
Stosh
