The snow is long gone in southern Manitoba. The last time I got to ride was early march.

We rode Lake Vermilion last weekend in northern Minnesota. Lake has over 1200 miles of lakeshore so it was a good ride. Tried to chop a hole in the ice but stopped after about 2 1/2 feet. Never got through. I think it will be there for awhile yet.

Normally we don't ride this long but it's been snowing here since Saturday morning. Temperature is about minus 10 to minus 15. One last chance to do some sledding before storing for the breaking out the fishing rods.
