Scorpion TK 440

Post by tieszo6 »

I have found a complete 80 Scorpion TK440 in a local barn and was wondering if anyone had any interest in it. There is also a spare tunnel and skid with it. I'm sure this could be aquired very cheap, otherwise it is intended for scrap. Contact me if anyone would like more info.

Where is it? It's likely way too far away from me, but I always admired the hood lines of the TK. The wedge shape of it sorta reminds me of the 1978 Kawasaki Intruder which I also think was a pretty sharp lookin sled.

Canistota South Dakota. We actually go fishing up to Moose Lake every year by The Pas. If you're really interested maybe we could work something out. I'd be real interested if you had a spare 4/6 laying around to trade with. My only concern is the border issues, I think you've had more experience in this area?

I sure wouldn't mind seeing a pic of it if it's not a big problem for you. However, the border thing, as you mentioned can be a real hassle. I brought home a nice Trailfire a few months back and I told myself then that I'd never buy another sled from the US. It used to be a real snap, but they seem to have made it much more of a pain now. In any case, when you head up to The Pas, drop me a note a few days beforehand.....and if I'm not busy with farming, you're welcome to stop by for a coffee on your way north. I'm just off highway 83 which as far as I know is the only highway that would get you to The Pas. Unfortunately, I have no 4/6 stuff on hand at present.......but you might find something else interesting enough to take home as I have a fair bit of old sled parts kicking around. You can call me anytime at 204-937-2991.

You can send them to me at triumph@mts.net

Looks like JDT is interested and I know he's into Scorpions and is fairly close to you, so by all means, let him have it if he wants it. I like the TK's, but I'm already tripping over sleds everywhere I walk in my shop and yard.
