Oil changes and all the problems of owning a car with a turbo. I imagine bearings and such will need replacing at certain intervals. Synthetic oil is a must with a turbo.

I would think that as the ambient temp of the sled engine is much less than under the hood of your rice burner on asphalt, the bearing life and oil lube properties would be extended.

True. Some of the Sleds are a bit cramped and it can be messy changing the oil filter.

typically a 4 stroke will last longer than a 2 stroke. Just look at motorcycles. 2 strokes will have lower miles than a 4 stroke. Also depending on fuel delivery method (carb or fuel Inj) they are are less prone to burn down (due to lean fuel mix) since they have oil lubrication.
Some of the the down side is that 4 strokes typically make less hp BUT the turbo will certainly help that. With the turbo you must let it warm up before you ride it (as it should be with all liquid sleds) and it extend the life of the turbo let it cool before you shut it down also. And yes you would have to changhe oil according to the owners manual.
I certainly no expert with 4 stroke sleds but I know how they works and I do work with turbos on diesels. as long as you take some time to take care of the turbo everything should last a long time.
