Paul, I was sent some pics of a set of skis that came from a raced 78 cc. Very well respected man! I just thought it would be neat to copy his ideas. This way here I can run that old girl like I stole it and not worry about breaking anything.

Keeps the front of the ski springs from twisting/flexing when on lake races with a lot of carbide installed for steering.. Especially when you have a top heavy Old Fart seating on the seat!!!!

Close up on the secondary, I was very impressed on how the walnut shells brought out the anodized look of the sheeves again. They were black and rusty looking before and the aluminum came out clean with a matte finish.

Paul, don't forget to torque the drive clutch bolt to the crank.

Hey Guys,

I hit a little snag with my 340/s resto. While discussing serial numbers with Lindner, I found that my chassis don't have one. Darn, its a replacement tunnel, and I have no info on the orginal sled that it was rebuilt into.

Needless to say, I've made few calls to my follow collectors, and it looks like I can pick up another tunnel in November. Better get moving on the suspension and motor in the mean time.
