Cyclone

Post by 427cobra »

Well I am getting closer to completing the Cyclone. However the key and kill switch will not turn the sled off. It continues to get spark no matter what... :boohoo:

I know its the usually the other way around....trying to get spark....ha

What should I be checking? It would be nice to be able to turn the sled off when I try to start it... :lol22:

Thanks!

PS

When I got the sled it looked like it had switch wired in to kill the engine. I also noticed that a white wire is cut....hmmmm

The white wire is the kill wire. (It should go to the cdi box) Ground that it should lose spark. if that works connect that to the key and kill switch.

I will check that out tonight! It was cut after it comes out of the engine and the spade connector was also cut off. So I will have some splicing to do!

Thanks

Don,

I figured it had to be a simple fix. I bought the wire at Menards and they only had 100' rolls. But it was only around $7. Now I have some extra white wire..ha

Looks like everyone had a good time at Haydays.
