Hi Koffe!

I have one I might sell, I looked for many years before I found one that was in good cond and not molested by kids...
They are great little sleds and I love that little liquidcooled engine... The best looking Jd motor Imho...

The run real quite with a nice exhaust note...

Ill be going to some vintage sleds meetings this winter with my sportfire... I dont have room for all the sleds anymore =( so Ill just keep the sport and Liq..

Ill see you there!

Have fun!

Hello to our Swedish Members,

Magnus and Madkoffe, the 83 Sprintfire is a pretty common sled to find here stateside, and I have one for my wife, as do 2 or 3 of my friends. I do not know how many were exported to Europe. I do know Deere produced less than 300 of the 84 Sprints and about 156 of the "82" early release Sprintfires, but at least several thousand 83's, with a small fraction going to Sweden.

I hope this helps!

Don....you need to go look at that '82 Snowfire in your home town...FIRST!

Rich
You guys kill me. Don, even when I was in Germany, I was something like 1,000 miles from Magnus in Northern Sweden. Turns out that an NOS Liquifire tunnel is not considered "carry on luggage" even if you carry it on. :naughty:

Kenny, I think we need more than pontoons for the Silverado to cross the Atlantic. But I hear the 6.6 DMax also makes a good boat motor so I guess all we need is a PTO on the 6 speed and a 300 hp capable jet pump?!

Don: There is an 82 Snowfire in your town?! Heck man, take some time of from saving lives and hunt down that sucker!

Later Liquidator,

PS: Magnus and MadKoffe, dispite our desire to globally dominate the Deere sled world, I think you guys are safe from us Stateside clowns sniping your deals

Don,

Found Ludvika, Sweden on Google maps. We are probably going to have the Chevy shipped to Ireland, drive accross the UK and take the Chunnel to France. After cruzing for babes in Paris, we can cut through Germany and then north through Denmark, and finally Sweden.

After locating the sled, making a deal, and getting back to the US, the entire trip should take about 5 weeks, and cost $12,000 USD if we include money spend on "entertainment" in France, or $6,000 USD if we excude that.

Sound like a good deal for an 83 Sprintfire, plus a ton of fun since I only speek English (or American really) and some Germain. Might be hard to expain to the 7 international borders that we cross that "we really needed to repairiate an 83 Sprintfire" with a Chevy truck...

Oh yea, and Diesel is about $9.00 a gallon in England and Germany right now...

It's true that I was at the post office this morning. Don't know anything about the sled though and nobody there said anything. DA
Where did you see this thing??>? Craigslist, VSCA??? Let me make it clear that I'm not interested in it but very willing to pick it up and bring it to A1.

That is an '82 Snowfire on E-Bay by serial # and build date. It has no seat strap which is '82 as well as the "Snowfire" decal on the tunnel. Also, has the correct gas tank. It does however have the incorrect hood on it. The '82's did not have the "Snowfire" decal on the side of the hood and it is an '83-84 style hood.
