1978 Liquifire parts

Post by liquifire340 »

Ok, I got my sons 1978 340 Liquifire ( my old one ) up and running ( stole CDI from my 78' 440 Liquifire :naughty: ).
But have run into needing a new headlight and kill switch. The headlight switch is so bad the light keeps going on and off, and the kill switch only works if you hold the button in. Not the safest option for my son..
Any ideas ???
I've looked and haven't had much luck  :wall:
Sorry I've been away so much, it's all those dang Ski-doo's I have !!!
Thanks for any leads!!!
Pat ( for my 14 year old Matt )

I just bought a CDI from Pat's for my 75 JDX. $80. Installed it tonight and I have loads of spark.

Pats also sent me two kill switches at $16 each.

Rich, Had I checked back in after our last conversation ( a year ago ), it would have been yours!!! The wife is getting upset with all my "toys".
She thinks six sleds are too many for a family of four, I don't need two engines and two body sets for my 74' 900 Z1 Kawasaki, and why would anybody want four spare engines and other spare parts for my 69' 428 Ram Air III GTO???
Women.

At this point I've stolen the windsheild, a choke plunger, CDI, and rear suspension was frozen and removed ( but have it ) when I bought it.
I hate taking parts off the 440, but what's a guy to do??

Thanks for the leads!!!
Pat
