I just installed a new purple primary from DK in my 80 LF.

My question is....

Are the purple primary springs you can buy now the same as the purple springs that were sold in the 80's?

I'm just curious if the new spring will have the same spring rate as a "NOS" purple spring....

I think Deere used a totally different color code. Can anyone confirm that?

I'm afraid you are SOL.

I have basically the same question but for my 76' cyclone 440 with the black spring. what would be the closest replacement?

Thanks
