idol problem

hi there my trailfire 440 oil injected when i started the new motor up it idols at 1100 rpm if i turn the set screw in it does not change the rpm i looked in the carb throt and it does move up when i screw it in but it whill eventually bottom out the screw. and the rpm barrley changes . and yes i did have the air bow all on when i ran the engine. and ideas or wait till it gettis colder out.just buzzed it up to make sure it would start an no problem there

Is it running on both cylinders? Is your throttle plunger adjusted properly?

yes its running on bo0th cylinders it runns nice . and yes the plunger is set right .at full throthle the plunger is flush with the back of the carb there is no restriction of air .
