Spitfire With Rev Up Issues

Hey,
I need some help with my rebuilt spitfire. It starts and idles fine, but as soon as i try to rev it up it boggs and acts like it is flooding. checked the spark plugs and there is intermittent gaps in the firing. also checked the carb and settings. ANY ideas?

This is like De javu.

A failing CDI box can exhibit this very problem you discribed.
