76' cyclone carb issue...Fixed!

Post by larky »

A big "I told you so!" is in order. This was the sled that came with the wicked lean main jet and would run great only with the air box off. I was told by a few members that my problem was with the choke plunger. A few weeks ago I finally installed an new complete choke/enrichment system. Well what do ya know, you guys were right. Yesterday was the first time I was able to test the sled with the appropriate temperatures, and she finally preformed the way I always felt she should, with the air box on. Anyway, I would like to give a big thanks to 400brian, TakeItToTheLimit, 79spitfire#100340, JDXspec, Danzig, ICCSF 108, The S Man, for your valuable input. And last but not least, harleysportster, for spending all that time in the chat room to help figure out what was going on with this thing. You all have helped a deere live another day.

Thanks
Matt
