Nice 1980 Polaris Centurion. I really like these sleds. I haven't followed them that closely but I think I've heard they had problems burning down the middle cylinder. Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong. They were very fast and sounded even better. I've been kind of patiently waiting for a nice clean '79 Centurion to come around.........

I havent' have time to test it yet, but they say it lift the ski in the sky anytime....hope it's true

An old guy I hunt with mentioned that he had one and used to raced it up some stupid steep hill in MN. Said he didn't loose to many races till an accident with it took a good chunk of his foot. I think he said the rack chewed through his boot then his foot. Ouch!

Personally I absolutely hate Polaris sleds but you found yourself a real nice one there! I think if I found one that nice I would have to keep it. A very nice and very clean original find!

I believe it and the eltigre 6000 of the same vintage are the first 100mph stock sleds. Nice find!
