I'm hoping for a foot of snow on the 18th. Got two weeks off so I'm good to then, but I have to tear down and fix Whirlwind #1 then.

Calling for up to 5 more inches tomorrow and more Saturday...I love the 3 day snow storms...we have finally got into a great pattern, now only to get some good easterly winds and get some lake effect from Chicago!!

Farmers Almanac is almost dead on this year!!

Paul...I left Oregon Ill. at 3:00 AM Sunday and hit the worst driving I can remember untill I hit Danville Ill. Enjoy the early riding, I heard it got cold after the snow fall! JRC ETD

The snow is packing in nicely, fields are not froze yet so the soil is soft underneath!! Great riding is for sure going on here. We were out late last night on the back water area around the Illinois river, out running with the coyotes and deer. A little snow coming down, temp was around 18 degrees and the sleds ran flawlessly. To bad the Deere is sleeping, sure would like to get it out and break in the new pistons..
