Newbies, listen up!

Post by 400brian »

Notice to all our new members, particularly the ones coming over from the Bull Sessions!

It has been suggested that some of you may not have joined this list because of a sudden interest in JD sleds. In order for you to prove your loyalty to this site, and your love of JD sleds, a new program has been set up just for you!

The name of this program is called: "The Help Bob Program". You see, we have a "special" kid here as well! If you browse through the list, you will see many posts by "Mr Deere", AKA: Bob! Bob has a well used '80 LiquiFire that he has been fooling with for several years

The "Help Bob Program" is an initiation of sorts. Your goal is to help get Bob's LF running, and get him off his computer, and out on the snow! You will get huge satisfaction from this activity, and we will benefit as well.

Send your good used and NOS parts directly to Bob. He is in need of jugs, pistons, suspension parts, and probably a crank.

I urge you to start ASAP, the sooner Bob's sled is repaired, the sooner he will be out riding, and you will be full and respected members of this site.

Very Very well put Brian.
Newbies, In case your not familiar with OUR Bob, he's in his first year of collage, Bob correct me if I'm wrong?? Bob is kind of our Murphy of Murphy's Law fame " If it's going to happen, It'll happen to Bob "
By the way Bobs Liquifire has a Kawasaki 440 Liquid basically the same as the 440 Invader engine..

Excellent Brian. I talked to Swede about this & with his great love for the JD's & plus his extenstive JD parts collection & know how about the inner workings of such a beast Bob is in great hands. (Dare I say he might be Tech Editor material?) :welcome: Can any Bsessions members help me with my Ariens? The guys here are not into this snowblower/rototiller company sled. Thanx & welcome aboard.

Hey, is this the same Bob from the Enzyte commercials on TV? You know the one, with the whistling in the background where he dives into the pool and his shorts come off, and all the women stare longingly at his A to Z?

The guys behind Enzyte got serious jailtime. Just proves no one likes short track jokes...

I will be here for the long haul. Since this site is much like the Doo site, can I say that here?... I will be tracking down a Deere. I've got leads on a couple right now. :-)
Thanks-

Yea, I think owning or restoring a 340/s gets you off the hook with trying to keep Mr. Bob in line. It can really be a part time job. (Sorry to throw you under the bus Bob, but it's too funny not too!) :lol22:

For everyone else, I suggest purchasing the 80-84 Liquifire repair manual, and memorizing it. Bob won't buy one, so we have to post it one paragraph at a time for him. (Bob, see above comment again)

You have your assignments...

Bob, my grandson Cam, who hates to read, actually read the 80LF manual before removing the track. That alone should be a good lesson to ya........LOL. DA
