run the motor, and put soapy water on the carb flanges, and the oil seals. If the water bubbles, your seals are leaking. This also works for vacuum systems in cars as well.

Be a little more specific , What makes you think that it is seals ? When the seals are gone it`s really hard to get them going and when you do they want to rev faster than they should.. Deererunner....

it starts real good when cold like one or two pulls. idles real good.and then when it gets warm it runs like s%@t 20 or 30 min's after start up.it will hardly pull it self .and won't idle then stalls then it takes 5 to 15 pulls to get it going . it does (not) rev at all even when warm. but untill it gets warm it runs like a top. it has new gas lines, filters, carbs are spotless.had them apart two or three times down to the last nut and bolt . and the air box is on it. new high test gas. gas tank is vented good .new spark plugs and wires .every thing works on this sled all lights

......Just for the hell of it....make sure your fuel pump is not backfeeding fuel into the crankcase, pull the vaccumn hose off and make sure its dry. I had a Rupp Nitro doing the same thing, started fine but ran worse as it got warmer......turned out that my fuel pump was the culprit......S
