kawi head vs. deere head
Not sure if this is any help, We just picked up 2 cylinder heads that were available in the shop and the first one came off an original 80 Liquifire. The head is stamped 440/2C on the RH side of the head it is stamped -2, I have many of these motors apart and this is the common head. I just picked up a head off a motor I am reasembling, and it is stamped 440/2A and on the RH side it is stamped -1. IT has a much smaller combustion chamber roughly 25% smaller. It looks smaller than a golf ball, totally different head. It is 36mm across and apprx. 15mm deep.
Thanks for posting this question, I wondered if the other motor came out of a Kawasaki, Thinking back I took a Kawi clutch off of it when I brought it home last year and must have forgot. Deererunner.........
