Well, after yrs of dreaming and looking I finally got a Liquidator. I bought it on ebay (for those of you who were wondering who bought it) and thanks to JDChad1 I found it. Got it home last nite and it is in real good original shape. All complete and it even runs. I look forward to tuning it up and riding it. I also look forward to talking to fellow deere heads when I need answers to my questions. Its fun with these race sleds especially when there is some history behind them. (which this one does have some) Here are some pics after I got it home too.

Congrats JDX:

I stopped in and visited with the man who sold the dator two weeks before the ebay listing. I saw (and drooled over) the sled you bought and it is an AWESOME original (to the best of my knowledge). I would call the paint exceptional. Enjoy your new purchase.

That sled was for sale on this web board this last summer. I had the guy send me pics of it. He was asking more than $3000 then. I wish I would have known that he was so flexible on the price or I would have picked it up myself. Congrats on your purchase. Mike.

The hood is not a light hood I don't think. About just as heavy as a regular LF hood. I'm figuring out this thing Is HEAVY. Moved across the yard with my mover is still a workout! Oh well I need it.
