bought this sled for $100.00 bucks.thought woooow!!!!! Got it home and tried to start it,after 100 or more pulls it started but only on one cylinder.thought aaaaahhhhh!!! :wall: got it rebuilt for $$$$$$.Checked out all the posts on this awsome site and learned not to run it without air box,as it didnt come with one is that the probable cause of meltdown?

No, could have been many things. What specifically was the problem when they tore it down?

On the sleds that came with air boxes, the carbs were jetted for the restriction of the airbox. If the engine is run without it, it will run too lean, and sooner or later will burn down the engine.
