I think they are refering to using them with water. Which as you know would be a problem below 32.

ok, so i still wonder if that is what i need or if its in my choke because today i didnt use the choke (cold engine) and in 1 pull it was running and stayed running, that is after sitting a day
a few days before i would flip the choke on and it would fire on the first pull but then i had to take the choke off and then give it ten pulls
any ideas?

Sounds to me like it's being over-fueled. You are flooding it with the enrichener.

so i lowered the choke plunger and it started in two pulls inside
let it outside for a couple of hours and i did regular choke for 2 pulls and then full choke for 2 pulls and then it started
normally you dont have to do you? full choke is for very cold temps

full choke on first pull till it spit then regular choke inside or outside.

btw you probably need to fix your fuel pump.

Round slide miks have enough fuel in bowl to start and run an engine for about 30 secs to a min. if you dont have fuel in carb too do that, its usually because you didnt criss cross the vent lines on carb over the top.

so then it should start if the fuel pump is weak cause there is enough gas in the bowl?
