73 JDX4 ?

Post by scotto »

Hi guys, first off i want to wish everyone here a very happy and prosperous new year.
I just picked up a JDX4 today, was told it was a 73, but cannot veryify with a date on the tunnel, the serial # is JDX4 006417M, hopefully somebody will be able to verify that its a 73 or what year it is, it is in very nice shape.
Thanks,
Scott

Scott,
JDsleds.com home, then Models, then JDX. Has all the info you need. Serial number is '73. Should have bogie wheels and Kohler 295cc.

A 73 JDX-4 should have a steel tunnel wile all other JDX/00's should have an aluminum tunnel.

As a small side note, funny thing about the 73 JDX-4. Although it has a steel tunnel, it was the first application of the aluminum centered bogie wheel. All other 73's used steel centered bogies.
