Whats the deal with the clutch remover looks like a steel rod without the arms to grab the clutch how does that work? I'm trying to get motor out and put seals in it and the bolts are missing from the mounting plate to the case. But the clutch is the road block for now, never tore in to a sled before.

Can you shim out the secondary my setup is rubbing the belt towards the motor? The cross shaft has a wax pen marking that says trailfire, maybe thats part of the problem. Figured out the clutch puller ran my finger in the clutch hole and felt threads(maybe I should use my brain). Another oddity my motor has oil injection, according to this site that didn't start till 83.

Tore the motor down today and I broke a ring trying to get jug back on. Can you get a replacement for this, on Dennis Kirk it says the rings are for their pistons only. PTO side seal was weathered but everything else looks good except some scoring on the case from the bearings which the manual says is O.K. Good thing it's snowing and I had to break a ring. So much for riding this weekend. The center crank seal looked a little stretched but it tightened when I set the crank back in. I guess I'm up a creek w/o a paddle.

It's seems that there are no rings available for stock pistons is this correct?
