JDX4 wont rev out?

Post by milkman »

99.9% sure its a carb problem, sled idles great, starts good, WILL NOT rev past 5000. Acts like you flipped the choke on, and it falls on its face!! I can only hope that someone out there has had a similer problem and can point me in the right direction! any ideas?

You have to start somewhere.

I'd start with the pick up in the tank, then work my way back to the carb.

I found some tuning info on the net this afternoon, and it seems that the high speed needle was way to rich, sled is running alot better now, and when I get the correct 780 drive clutch put on later this week she should be mint!
