33 year old 440

I am talking about the 33 year old Kioritz 440 I put in the 94 XLT. A few buddies and I had it out riding last weekend. One had a 95 indy super sport 440, another had a 95 indy 500. my xlt is 40+ LBS more than the 95 super sport, we raced a few times and my 33 year old 440 pulled ahead of the super sport and I held the lead by about 2 or 3 sleds the whole way down the field every time. and it pretty much matched the acceleration of the 500. He took me after about 60MPH. We were doing rolling starts about 5-10 MPH because mine is real boggy off a dead start. I even rode the super sport and my xlt felt more powerfull. I just cant believe how good that little Kioritz runs, even after so long.

I belieive it means the engine family.Yours is a 440/lc23.

Yes, it is a lc23.
